Trail Mix Data

Here is a picture of the peanut butter trail mix that I used for my data. It was very yummy. I had a fun learning experience doing these graphs. It was very fun scooping out the trail mix and measuring one half cup each.

It really goes to show that some of the things that you never think about can make the best data charts ever. Inside the trail mix there is peanuts, peanut butter chips, raisins, peanut butter chocolate candies, peanut butter pretzel balls, and peanut butter cups. I chose this trail mix when I went to target and in Target there was lots of trail mix options, just like this, but I choose this one because it has exactly everything that I liked and just the perfect amount of balance between sweet and savory. Compared to all of the trail mixes that I have tried in sampled in my lifetime. This is my favorite one.

One day when I was eating it the day after I got it, I thought that I should make some graphs and data on the contents of this trail mix. Surprisingly there was more raisins than peanuts in this trail. Mix called peanut butter monster on both samples. Maybe because raisins are more cost-effective than peanuts for Target. 🍫🥜

What inspired me to create this data happened to be eating the trail mix myself. (definitely good) I also noticed that some pieces of treats in the trail mix happened to be more common than others. My first hypothesis was that there would be more peanuts than raisins, but it turned out that there are as more raisins than peanuts. I definitely learned more about trail mix, especially that kind that I was doing a sample of that was definitely the best part. OK maybe the best part was actually eating the trail mix. I liked both.

Watching a video about the Haribo factory line gave me an idea to start to work on these graphs above. The video that I watched claimed that there is more red bears manufactured than any other color beacause rad is the "Most popular flavor". So, I wondered to myself, is that really true? And when Halloween came, I went trick-or-treating at every house with Haribo gummy bears. With a sample size of 209 I put on gloves and got to work straight away. After counting I learneded the website was correct! There was the most red bears!
